The Bhagavad Gita is one of the most important texts of Sanatana Dharma. Having the 18 chapters (700 shlokas) of the Gita memorized at a young age is the greatest step a child can take towards development into a complete human being. Each verse of the Gita acts as a guiding force for a stress-free, productive, value-based life. In this rigorous two-year program led by Smt. Sowmya Nagaraj and a committed group of experienced mentors, your child can memorize the entire Bhagavad Gita and gain an invaluable treasure for life.

What are the materials/support you get?
Live, interactive learning sessions covering all 700 verses of Gita, along with Dhyana shlokas, Gita Mahatmyam & Gita Arati.
Apart from regular classes, 2 revision (avrtti) classes will be held per week for making the students memorize in the traditional way.
Individual attention is given to students through mentors.
Regular assessment at various levels (chapter, 3-chapter, 6-chapter, Full).
A hard copy of the Bhagavad Gita book published by Vyoma Labs will be provided to all learners in India. (Learners outside India can get the book by paying extra shipping charges).
Access to the Online interactive interface - 'Repeat & memorize Bhagavadgita' will be provided free.

What are the prerequisites to get the best out of this course? (Eligibility)
This course is open ONLY to children between the age of 6-15 years.
This course expects no previous exposure to the Sanskrit language.
Knowing the Devanagari script is beneficial to understand the finer nuances of pronunciation.
Interaction with parents before admitting children, to ensure orientation & commitment.
NOTE - There will be a Parents' Orientation on 6th April 2023. The link to attend this session will be shared by email 2 days before the session.

About the Teacher
Know More about the Course
- This course requires high commitment from ALL involved.
- In this course, it is mandatory to have more than 90% attendance ( for learning class and for revision classes)
- The highest importance is given to pronunciation & memorization. ( BOTH)
- Students will be trained to memorize all 700 shlokas and recite without pausing, no repetition, no self-correction, pausing/breaking the pada correctly, and zero pronunciation & memory mistakes.
- By the end of the course, students shall be trained such that they will be able to recite from wherever the teacher prompts.
- Though the course is rigorous; during the training, innovative and fun way of learning through games and few stories may be adopted.
- There will be 2 teaching sessions per week and 5 new shlokas will be taught in each class.
- A group of 5 students will be assigned a mentor who helps them with memorization & tracks their progress every week.
- Apart from regular classes, 2 revision/avrtti classes will be held per week by the mentor for making the students memorize in the traditional way.
- Based on the mentors' and students' convenience, revision classes will be decided at the beginning of the course & these classes will be held on the same days & times as agreed & will remain the same for the next 24 months.
- Students will have to give a full-chapter assessment after each chapter is completed; 3 chapters assessment after every 3 chapters; 6 chapter assessment after each shatka (set of 6 chapters). A Full Gita assessment will be conducted at the end of the program.
- Assessors and mentors will provide detailed feedback to learners on both memorization and pronunciation errors committed by them.
Students are expected to attend the live sessions and
avrtti sessions regularly. Completion of the course will depend on clearing all the individual chapters,
3-chapter, 6-chapter and full Gita assessments. Criteria
for clearing the assessments are - zero memory & pronunciation mistakes, no pausing while reciting the
shlokas, no self-correction.
Certificates will be provided to all learners who clear
all the above assessments as per these criteria.

- Since this is a comprehensive program for serious learners, admissions are allowed only till 16th April 2023.
Can you throw some light on attendance criteria with respect to certification?
- An attendance and assessment record will be maintained and shared with the parents on a regular basis. A minimum of 90% attendance and clearing all assessments (Including the final full Gita assessment) is compulsory for certification. Students who miss classes without intimation, or have a backlog of more than 50 shlokas will not be allowed to continue
Will the learning process and memorization of shlokas be very hard?
- The unique methodology designed by Vyoma would help students memorize the verses easily while keeping the entire journey enjoyable. Extensive handholding and revision would be provided to ease the process.
