Yadavabhyudayam - Sarga 1 (Tamil Explanation)
Yadavabhyudayam is a Mahakavya by Sri Vedantadeshika on the life & leelas of Srikrishna. First sarga of the kaavya contains 100 shlokas describing the appeal by Devas to Lord Vishnu, and the Lord's promise to incarnate in the womb of Devaki to establish Dharma. In this course, the verses are explained in simple Tamil.

Yadavabhyudaya is a mahakavya in 24 cantos by the renowned Srivaishnava Acharya Sri Vedanta Desika, who lived in South India in 13th and 14th centuries. The kavya is an ode to Krishnaleela, describing the Birth of Krishna, his childhood, the Govardhana episode, the seasons and the conquest of Indra, The Rasa-Lila, The slaying of the demon Kesin and the lamentation of the ladies of Braja at Krishna's departure for Kamsa's capital and so on exploring the life events of Krishna forms the story.
First sarga of Yadavabhyudayam is prescribed for Vichakshana exam in the Chittoor Board. This sarga consists of 100 shlokas, which are explained in the course along with its anvaya, prathipadartham, bhavam, vishesha, vyaakaranavishesha, alankara.
