Vyoma Sanatana Vidya Pathasala (VSVP) is an online curriculum for children aged 6-12 years. This has been designed as a systematic three-staged program to cover subjects related to Samskrita - Samskriti - Samskara (SSS). Welcome to the first stage called Shravanananda which will commence on the 10th of June 2024 and will go on till the end of February 2025.

What are the subjects taught & high level syllabus for the same?
Mandatory Subjects:
Sanskrit - Taught through Vyoma Labs' popular kid friendly multimedia product: Learn Sanskrit-Level 1
Spoken Sanskrit - Topics covered in Samskrita Bharati's 10 day spoken Shibira
Shloka - Sankatanashana ganesha stotram, Nityaprarthana shlokas, Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12, Durga Saptashloki, Mahalakshmyashtakam, Sarasvati Stotram, etc
Elective Subjects:
Stories - On Ramayana, Festivals, Temples, Sthala Puranas, Desha Bhakti & about Mahaans
Indian Culture Concepts - Power of Sanskrit and Chanting, Introduction to Indic Knowledge systems, Understanding a few Nityaprarthana shlokas
Bhajans - On God, Gurus, Goddesses, Samskrita shishugeetani and geetani
Activities & Quizzes - Related to Bharatiya Samskriti
Please note that Sanskrit, Spoken Sanskrit and Shloka are mandatory subjects. Bhajans, Stories, Indian Cultural Concepts and activities are elective subjects. Students can select one or more electives. However, we would recommend that the children select all the electives for their well rounded learning of Samskrita - Samskriti - Samskara (SSS).
Periodically, we will be arranging Guest Lectures by experts and motivational speakers in line with SSS. These will be accommodated within the scheduled hours.

What are the materials/support you get?
Children will have access to multimedia, audio, video, textbooks and worksheets to support their learning
Children also have access to recordings of classes (both audio and video) anytime for repeated listening or catching up with the missed portions
Children have the support of being mentored by passionate and dedicated teachers

Note: The suggested cost of multimedia learning products & textbooks (of Vyoma) along with a 'Web access' fee is Rs. 10,008 /- per year. Reference books from other publications that are recommended have to be purchased separately.
What are the prerequisites to get the best out of this course? (Eligibility)
Children aged 6 – 12 years are eligible to join
The key eligibility is the child’s interest, sincerity and commitment to learning by prioritizing time and putting in the required effort
Students will need to be regular and punctual to the classes
Children are recommended to attend the sessions in a noise-free dedicated place
Children can use a desktop, laptop or a tab
This course requires effort in terms of time and learning and so commitment from parents is expected
Younger children might need adult supervision for logging in to the classes, however, we recommend that parents do not prompt children to answer during the classes
