Sri Vedantadeshika's Sristuti - English Meaning

Sristuti is a devotional hymn composed by Sri Vedantadeshika. It is in praise of Sri Lakshmi, the divine consort of Sriman Narayana. In this stuti, Swami Deshika expresses his profound devotion to Mahalakshmi in an unprecedented poetic form. It is written in the mandakranta metre effusing beautiful rhythm. The origin, nature, relationship and role of Sri Lakshmi with her devotees and Bhagavan Sriman Narayana have been poured forth in these 25 verses which bestows all auspiciousness on the one who recites these.
