Shiksha is the 3rd level of exams in the Patrachara Samskritam series of Samskrita Bharati. It covers halsandhis, visargasandhis and shatr-shaanach pratyayantas in detail. It also introduces the concept of systematic anvaya of shlokas applied to select verses from Chapter 1 of Bhagavadgita. This course covers the prescribed syllabus with special focus on the grammatical and poetic aspects, with explanations in simple Sanskrit.

Samskrita Bharathi is one of the premier organisations which has brought about a revolution in the world of Sanskrit through its Spoken Sanskrit camps and Sanskrit Through Sanskrit (STS) methodology. It has helped the spread of Sarala Samskrita across the globe. It offers correspondence courses in four levels (Patrachara Samskritam), conducting examinations twice a year. This course aims to help the students who are preparing for the third level (Shiksha) of these courses.
Syllabus follows the prescribed textbook for Patrachara Samskritam Level 3 (North Tamilnadu Version used as primary reference). Following topics are covered in detail.
वाक्येषु अन्वयरचना, चितानां भगवद्गीताश्लोकानां विस्तरेण अध्ययनम्, सुभाषितानि, प्रहेलिकाः, लोकोक्तयः, व्यञ्जनसन्धयः, विसर्गसन्धयः, शतृशानच्प्रत्ययान्ताः, सत्सप्तमी, काव्यकथा ।
Note – Students will have to register for the examination on their own, at any Samskrita Bharati center close to them. On registration, they will receive printed study materials for the course, which they are expected to have with them while attending this course.
