The text Sarala-Vyakaranam prescribed for Kovida teaches how to analyse sentences which convey the intention of the speaker. It contains lots of examples to help students understand the different types of sentences and how to convert one type of sentence into another. The use of special characters (virāmacihna) in sentences is also explained with examples. The text also quotes a few of the important kārika-s from the śikṣāśāstra which deals extensively with the pronunciation aspects.
This course covers Saralavyakaranam, which is one of the texts prescribed for the Kovida exam in the Chittoor Board. Each verse is explained in detail in Tamil.
