हरिस्तुतिः - आङ्ग्लभाषया श्लोकार्थः
Hari-stuti, also popularly known as Harimide-stuti, is one of the most beautiful compositions of Adi Shankaracharya. It consists of forty-four verses in Mattamayura Chandas (meter). These shlokas help devotees to easily visualise the image of Lord Vishnu in the mind for meditation. Each shloka ends with the line “tam samsaradhvantavinasham harimide” (I pray to Hari, destroyer of the darkness of mortal word). In this course, every verse will be explained briefly in simple English, with prose-order and word-by-word meaning.

Haristuti is a profound and beautiful composition of Adi Shankaracharya describing the wonderful features of Lord Vishnu. These verses expound the basic doctrines of the Upanisads, the Bhagavad-gita, and the Bramha-sutra.
This course covers all 44 verses of Hari-stuti (Harimide-stuti). Each verse is chanted and explained along with a break-up of words, anvaya (prose order), and simple meaning in English. The philosophical ideas behind the verses are briefly mentioned.
