Know More about the Course

Samskrita Bhasha Pracharini Sabha, Chittoor was established in 1945 for the cause of Samskrita Prachaara by a few veteran scholars, with Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh as its centre. This is one of the oldest Samskrita Sabhas in India, and the Chittoor exam series is held in high esteem by scholars for its depth and comprehensiveness.

A key feature of the Chittoor exam syllabus is the introduction of Samskrita kavyas right from the first level. All the genres of literature such as Padya, Gadya, Champu, Nataka, etc are covered in the syllabus in a graded manner, giving students exposure to authentic usage of Samskrita language by various poets of yore.

The syllabus also introduces elective Shaastras at Level 5 and Level 6. Students can choose from 9 shaastra options including Alankara, Vyakarana, Tarka, Mimamsa, Vedanta, Jyotisha, Ayurveda, Dharmashastra and Purana.
6 exams are conducted by the Chittoor Sabha.
