Composed by the royal poet Bhoja, it employs extremely attractive language and expressions to retell the story of Rama in an enchanting way. The Bala and Sundara kandas of this work are very popular among students, and prescribed for study in various examinations.
This course covers all the 77 verses and accompanying prose portions of the Sundarakanda of Champu Ramayana.
The story is the same as the sundara kanda of Valmiki’s Ramayana, but told in a concise way. Most of the gadya portions and verses of this kavya are very popular among Sanskrit scholars for their beauty in both shabda and artha.
