व्योम-बाल-गुरुकुलम् २०२५ - २८

Vyoma Bala Gurukulam India 2025 - 28 (A 3-Year After-School Immersive Experience)

What we are today is the product of time we spent with our elders, special teachers and relatives. The moral values in those stories, soulful experiences in the evening Bhajan-s and the knowledge of the Shastra-s from elders defines our personality. Vyoma Bala Gurukulam bridges the current gap of grandparents, authentic teachers and loving elders.

Enrol your child in Vyoma Bala Gurukulam, formerly known as Vyoma Sanatana Vidya Pathashala (VSVP), for an immersive after-school online program tailored for children aged 6-12 years. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed into three progressive levels, emphasising Samskrita, Samskriti, and Samskara. Start your child’s journey with the first level, Shravanananda, beginning in June 2025.

While this course is primarily designed for children in India, children from other time zones are welcome if the timings are convenient.

About the Teacher

Know More about the Course

Vyoma Bala Gurukulam is an after-school online curriculum that has been designed as a systematic three-leveled program in the subjects covering Samskrita - Samskriti - Samskara (SSS) for children between 6 and 12 years.
Exposing your children to Samskrita - Samskriti - Samskara (SSS) is important as it fosters a strong sense of cultural identity, preserves traditions, boosts self-esteem, strengthens family bonds, enriches education, and connects them with their cultural community. Giving your child exposure to our culture in his/her formative years helps in creating the right impressions in your child that will help him/her now and in the years to come. This will help your child’s overall development and also help your child to have the right priorities in life.
The three levels of this programme are:
1. Shravananada (Joy of Listening)
2. Vicharananda (Happiness of Understanding)
3. Acharananda (Bliss of Practicing)
Each stage is interconnected and takes the child gradually through the steps of learning. Every child gains knowledge first through listening, then applies his/her thought process to understand better and finally experiences by living the teaching.

How many extra hours per week will my child need to study beyond class time?

Your child may need to dedicate around 30 minutes to 1 hour per week for reviewing lessons outside of class.

Can my child join the course midway?

For optimal results, it is recommended that your child joins the course from the start.

What will not be taught in Vyoma Bala Gurukulam?

Veda Mantras and Vedic Chanting are not part of the curriculum. Additionally, we respect your family’s religious practices and do not interfere with or influence your child.

Will this learning impact my child’s regular academics?

Vyoma Bala Gurukulam does not interfere with your child’s regular academic studies. Instead, it provides consistent, systematic exposure to SSS during the evening hours (dusk-Sandhya), complementing their usual academic schedule.

Where can I purchase the study materials for the course?

Details about the materials and books to be purchased will be intimated during the interview process.

Will children be assigned to levels based on age, previous exposure, or both? Can they choose their level, or is it assigned by Vyoma? Can they start at a level other than the beginning?

All beginners, regardless of age, are generally recommended to start with Level 1 - Shravanananda. However, for students with prior experience in Vyoma's regular kids' courses or other Sanskrit exposure, we will evaluate their background on a case-by-case basis and assist in determining the appropriate level for them.

I love stories, videos, and games—will I find these in the course?

Yes, Vyoma’s multimedia tools feature charming animated stories, interactive games, worksheets, and quizzes. We’re confident you’ll enjoy these engaging elements.

I’d like my friends to join these sessions. Can they?

We have shared information about this program with a wide network of children. You'll have the opportunity to make new friends online, and you're also welcome to refer your like-minded friends to join.

Will learning and memorising shloka-s be challenging?

Our program is specifically designed to incorporate regular Shloka revision into each class, making memorisation more manageable. With a little practice over the weekend, we're confident you'll do just fine.

Is there any form of guidance or motivation?

Our dedicated and enthusiastic teachers provide friendly mentorship, making the learning process engaging and motivating.
