    Bhasa-mahakavi is regarded as one of the earliest and most celebrated Sanskrit poets. He is renowned for his collection of plays, known as Bhasa-nataka-chakram, which are based on various popular stories. Svapnavasavadattam is one of the prominent plays included in this set of works by Bhasa.
    Svapnavasavadattam is one of Bhasa's celebrated plays, focusing on the story of King Udayana and his queen Vasavadatta. Set in a dream sequence, the play explores themes of love, longing, and reunion. Through its complex narrative and rich dialogue, Svapnavasavadattam offers a powerful portrayal of human emotions and the mystical nature of life, showcasing Bhasa's mastery in blending drama with poetry.
    All the Six Acts in Svapnavasavadattam will be explained in this course.
