Ramayana Rasanubhava - A 4-week online summer camp for USA children (Batch 2)

By popular demand, we are delighted to launch the second batch of this enriching four-week online journey through the Valmiki Ramayana, specially curated for children aged 7 to 13. This immersive program is designed as a 3-hour daily experience, between 9:00 AM to 12 Noon CT, offering a joyful and culturally enriching learning journey. As part of this journey, children will learn to chant the Sankshepa Ramayana, immerse in Sri Rama pooja vidhana with Sri Rama Ashtottara and Nama Ramayana, creatively present their own Chitra Ramayana, and practice Rama-nama lekhanam, with activities and quizzes.

Although this batch is scheduled keeping in mind children from the US and Canada, participants from other regions are most welcome to join, provided the timings suit them.

  • Rama-Nama Lekhanam (Writing the Divine Name of Rama)
    As a part of this journey, the children will take up Rama Nama Lekhanam, helping cultivate focus, calmness and a sense of reverence.
  • Sri Rama Pooja Vidhana
    Through this course, you can learn the Sri Rama pooja vidhana, along with the chanting of Sri Rama Ashtottara and Nama Ramayana
  • A purposeful and joyful summer
    This program offers a balanced experience that enhances concentration, comprehension and cultural connection - while ensuring that learning remains joyful and engaging.

What are the prerequisites for this course? (Eligibility)

No prior knowledge is required for this course. The only essential requirement is a genuine curiosity and a sincere desire to explore the Ramayana in a meaningful way.

2. What is the duration of the course?

The course runs for 4 weeks, from Monday to Friday, with 3-hour live sessions each day.

3. Who can join?

This course is designed for children aged 7 to 13 years as on June 2026. If your child shows an interest in Indian traditions or is keen to delve into the Valmiki Ramayana, this course is an excellent choice!

4. Is prior knowledge required?

No prior knowledge is required. This course is carefully structured for beginners, helping children progress from basic storytelling to a deeper understanding of the characters, values, and teachings of the Ramayana.

5. Will recordings be available?

Certainly! Recordings of all sessions will be provided to participants with unrestricted access. This allows children to review the lessons or make up for any missed classes at their own convenience.

6. What materials are provided?

Participants will receive a carefully curated course PDF that includes stories, important values, and insightful takeaways from the Ramayana discussed in the sessions.

Along with this, children will be given beautifully crafted illustrations for colouring and building their own Chitra Ramayana, as well as interactive activity sheets and quiz materials to make learning both fun and meaningful.
