Bala Ganapati is the first of the 32 forms of Ganesha. He is described to be golden in colour. He is depicted having 4 arms holding a banana, a mango, a sugarcane and a jackfruit. These are symbols of abundance and fertility of the Earth. Bala Ganapati is said to grant child’s joy, growth and good health to his devotees. In this course, Smt.Shyamala Mullai Pandian will take us through the method of crafting this paper sculpture of Bala Ganapati.

  • Two A4 size yellow chart papers
  • One plain A4 sheet
  • Colour print out of icons sheet (banana, mango, sugarcane, jackfruit)
  • Black marker/sketch pen
  • Colour pencils
  • Dark green oil pastel
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Fevicol
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Cellophane tape
  • Thread (30 cms long)
  • A5 size Cardboard
    Pre - requisite : Take a HD colour printout of icons sheet attached
