Vyoma Linguistic Labs Foundation (“Vyoma Labs” / “us” / “we” / “our”) is committed to protecting and safeguarding the personal data and privacy of any user who accesses and / or uses (“User” / “you” / “your”) our website www.sanskritfromhome.org (“Website”), our Learning Management System (“LMS”) (Website and LMS are together referred to as “Websites”) and the courses offered therein (“Courses”). Our Website, LMS, Courses and related services are collectively referred to as “Services”. We have developed this Privacy Policy to protect and safeguard your personal information.

“Personal Information” means and includes any information that relates to a natural person, which, either directly or indirectly, or in combination with other information, is capable of identifying such person (your name, e-mail address, residential address, phone number, date of birth, gender, etc.).

We endeavour to comply with laws of other countries but cannot and do not warrant that we do. We do everything we reasonably can to protect your rights of privacy on systems, the Websites and the Services controlled by us, but we are not liable for any unauthorised or unlawful disclosures of your Personal Information made by third parties who are not subject to our control, for example advertisers and websites that have links to our Websites.     The Personal Information we collect includes the following:

Profiling information: Information which you provide when you register on our Websites and / or Course(s) as a learner and / or teacher, which may include some or all of the following: name, user name, password, age, date of birth, email address, telephone number, residential address, Courses you opt to attend / teach, educational qualifications, prior experience in teaching, preferences etc.

      The aforesaid information is used to provide you with better e-learning services, cater to your needs and preferences, inform you about future courses being offered, gauge your interest in Sanskrit learning and / or teaching, to maintain and improve customer relationships, to send you updates about our Services, newsletters etc.

      Your email address will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it. We will add the email address to the Course mailing list and for sending information about the Courses you have registered for. Your email id will not be disclosed to third parties, without your consent.

    2. Payment, account and transactional information:Your account history with us while using our Services, including all billing information and communications, transactions, payment history and account information. We maintain this in encrypted form on secure servers. Your payment history is maintained for financial and audit purposes.

    3. Service usage:Information about your navigation using our Services, for example the URLs of websites which you visit and from which you request downloads. This information is used for research and analytics to serve you better and to ensure IT security.

    4. Log-in information:This information is automatically collected and includes your web request, IP address, browser type, browser language, date and time of request. This information is required to ensure IT security, and for research and analytics, to improve our Services.

Correspondence information:Content, information about your correspondence, and the destination / origin of communications between you and any other person using our Services, which include email communications, blog, chat room, chat bot and discussion board communications, instant message communications, expert’s forum communications, teacher and Course communication, fax mail communications, membership of mailing lists etc. This information is collected to provide better customer support services and better e-learning services to Users.

    6. Stored information:Data either created by you or by a third party and which you wish to store on our servers such as image files, documents etc.

    7. Information from donors:We may collect the postal address and PAN number from donors in accordance with the applicable laws.

    8. Interactive features:From time to time our Websites or Services may request information from visitors via interactive features, such as surveys, assessments or quizzes. Participation in these features is completely voluntary and the User therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name, email, phone numbers, address), and information on the User’s interests. Such information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site, our Services and providing pertinent information to Users.

    Notwithstanding anything else in this Policy, we may work with partners who use mobile Software Development Kits (“SDKs”), to passively collect information (collectively, “SDK Information”), which generally helps us deliver personalized notifications. This data may also be used to identify you in a unique manner across other devices or browsers for the purposes of customizing ads or content. Depending on the permissions granted to this application, this information may include Personal Information including your e-mail address.     You agree that all such claims and disputes arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy shall be settled finally by arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by Vyoma Labs. The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be seated in India. The place of arbitration shall be Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The governing law of the arbitration agreement shall be Indian Law. The arbitration proceedings will be conducted in English.
